KRAUSE – Architecture + Interiors’ leadership team efforts are well-positioned for a successful future.
We are excited to announce that Michael Krause has been promoted to Partner within the firm!
Michael joined the firm in 2017 after having worked for 8-years in Denver, CO and Shanghai China, where he was an integral part of many high-profile national and international projects.
At Krause, Michael has acted as the lead designer on the Lillibridge - Desert Medical Campus redevelopment project, the Elevate 24 redevelopment, and numerous extraordinarily successful interiors projects and re-positioning projects. Currently, he is designing the 4141 Scottdale Road campus repositioning project.
Michael excels at project collaboration and delivery with a passion for design and quality solutions. Compounded by robust 3-D modeling, graphics, and marketing skills, his talents provide well-thought-out, notable designs that exceed client expectations making him a most powerful asset.
Beyond Krause, Michael has a far-reaching passion for the local community’s growth and development as well as sharing the joy of design with young people. During his time in Denver and working full time, he taught Architecture Technologies to college students. On top of that, he has taught summer camp at Arizona's famed Taliesin West. He is an active member of NAIOP’s Developing Leaders, ULI’s committee for Diversity and Inclusion, ULI’s committee for Urban Planning (teaching real estate development practices to high school students) and is on the board for the historic townhome community The Boardwalk, designed by Al Beadle.
With the betterment of the community apparent at the forefront of his mind, Michael invested his personal time to seek out solutions to Arizona’s water needs. His design proposal for the Rio Salado won both the International Ideas Competition held by the AIA (American Institute of Architects) and Rethinking the Future’s (RTF) global commercial concept award for sustainability and innovation.
A key leader at Krause and in the community, Michael proves to be a catalyst for the ongoing creation of the firm’s legacy.
